With the advent of October, we more and more want warmth, comfort and home gatherings with a cup of your favorite hot drink. So it happens that you sit, wrapped in a plaid, on the windowsill, look down – and there is vanity, cold and autumn … Such a cold, wet autumn. And you are at home, warm, with dry legs, and in your hands you have a funny cup in a sweater. And from all this comes peace of mind, and there is pity for those down there forced to trample puddles with a reflection of the dark sky.
I want to share with you a selection of wonderful cup sweaters. All photos are taken from the Internet, copyright logos are saved. If you know the author of the work without a logo, write in the comments and I will definitely sign his work.
To make sweaters, you will need:
– Colored threads;
– Knitting needles or hook (which is more convenient for you to knit), the size depends on the diameter of the selected thread;
– Various buttons or large beads;
– Materials for decor (felt, fleece, satin ribbons, etc. to your taste).
The sweater is based on a straight canvas, with ribbons tied from one edge. Due to these ribbons and sewn buttons or beads, the canvas is fixed on the cup.
Now in stores a huge selection of threads and accessories is presented, connecting your imagination to the fullest – you can achieve original solutions for sweaters.
For knitting, various threads are used: wool, acrylic, iris, “grass” (or what is it called correctly?), Even knitted into strips is used (yellow sweater below)!
The patterns are knitted very different: from a simple canvas with which even a novice can handle, to complex weaves of braids and other intricate patterns.
You can knit “clothes” not only for cups, but also for flower pots, sugar bowls, salt shakers and pepper shakers, vases … The list can be continued indefinitely, because how many different household items in our kitchen need such a nice warmth?
